Eloane achieves logarithmic reductions of 5 to 6 log (up to 99.9999%) on reference strains, including the most resistant ones: mold spores, spore-forming bacteria, pathogens and viruses. The target level is defined with you beforehand, based on the strains found at your site and your specifications.

How long is a room out of service, and does air handling have to be shut down?

A typical cycle lasts around ten minutes per position. The process requires no HVAC shutdown, no covering, and no contact or airing time: operators can re-enter the room immediately after the cycle ends. Room downtime therefore stays very short compared with chemical disinfection.

Is the process safe for staff and for equipment?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Personal safety is ensured by a chain of redundant devices, checked before every cycle authorization: Door interlocking: any opening immediately stops the cycle. Emergency stops positioned at the entrance and the exit. Systematic validation of safety devices before cycle authorization. Ozone level reading before the disinfected load is transferred. If one e-zo block fails, the entire system becomes inoperative. The whole architecture of our equipment was developed around safety in use. This approach is patented.

Every cycle is recorded and time-stamped: applied parameters, treated positions, delivered doses, operator. Data is tamper-evident and auditable (audit trail aligned with 21 CFR Part 11 principles) and you receive a final compliance report you can use during inspection, alongside your microbiological controls.

Cleanrooms and controlled areas, airlocks and changing rooms, QC laboratories, filling zones, RABS and isolators, operating theatres and technical rooms. For complex geometries, the treatment is split into several positions in order to cover every exposed surface. A floor plan of your rooms is enough for a first study.
