About us

We are Biopulz.

A French technology startup that puts the complexity of intense pulsed light at the service of a simple use: letting professionals disinfect as often as needed, wherever infection risk is not an option.

Our purpose

Making a complex technology

Biopulz was born from a simple observation: in the most demanding environments, disinfection is still slow, chemical and hard to trace. We created Eloane, the first European automated system for surface disinfection by intense pulsed light, then E-z̈o, its modular version integrated into the walls.

One conviction guides every development: microbiological performance should not be paid for in chemicals, in downtime or in complexity for the teams using it every day.

A mastered technology

Intense pulsed light, from the 180–1100 nm spectrum through to the validated cycle: we master the physics as much as the protocol.

Zero chemistry, zero residue

No biocide, no rinsing, no re-entry time: the surface is treated and immediately usable again.

French industrialization

Design, assembly and validation rely on a cluster of industrial partners gathered around Biopulz.

Demanding environments

Healthcare, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology: we work where infection risk is not an option.

The team

Specialists for every critical component

An experienced team built from partners with complementary skills: Biopulz relies on the best specialists for each of Eloane's critical components.

Bruno Robert

Technical & Industrial Strategy Director

A general electronics engineer and industrial executive for nearly 30 years.

After leading several companies in Languedoc-Roussillon, he founded Sider in 1997 (electrical, electronics), then expanded into mechatronics, robotics and training with SMS, STS Ingénierie and Dec'Air. In 2024 he took a stake in Biopulz.

An industrial cluster around Biopulz

Electronics, mechatronics, robotics and engineering: French industrial partners gathered around Biopulz for the design, assembly and validation of our equipment.
